Become a Volunteer

How can you help?

At DFoG we are looking for people who want to understand the issues that affect not only people with learning disabilities, but also their parents, carers, families, and supporters. We provide services, we listen to what they want and we work hard to identify and meet their needs.

We rely entirely on volunteers and donations. For more information on becoming a volunteer please contact the coordinator at info@dfog.org. If you would like to make a regular donation then please print and fill out one of our downloadable forms and send it back to us.

As the only learning disability charity of its kind in Ghana, it is important that DFoG volunteers have the right attitude in an environment where they are fully involved and engaged with issues that affect people's lives.

Whether you are volunteering in health, social care, administration or fundraising, you need to be committed to our values by empowering and challenging incorrect beliefs and transforming the lives of people with learning disabilities.
